Valley of Broumovsko
Valley of Broumovsko spreads between Javoří mountains and Broumovské walls. It´s slope has a very steep character with overal fall of over 300 metres. This abrupt altitude difference offers spectacular views of endless horizon.
It´s centre is the city of Broumov, which is also a start point and crossroads of a majority of pathways and greatly connects surrounding villages.
The valley has a certain peculiarity- climatic variance. Broumovské walls often break wide cloud systems causing interesting inversion: the valley itself covered under thick layer of clouds while the Walls and Javoří mountains are well above, with bright sunshine.
A very characteristic and beautiful element of the valley are popular alleys alongside roads which are tremendously picturesque, particularly in autumn and spring seasons.
